In 2025, over 400,000 Black women were laid off. I was on the phone, in inboxes, asking who was building real solutions. What I found were courses. Upskilling programs. Resources telling the most educated, innovative, and creative group of people on earth that they simply needed to learn more. They were not laid off because they were not skilled enough. The layoffs were intentional.
The Group Chat has been a vision of mine for over three years. Three attempts to get it right, but I knew what was missing was not another program. It was a real community. One that does not just hold space but holds you accountable. One that does not just celebrate you but pushes you. One that makes you do the thing you have been telling yourself you were going to do.
In January 2026, I posted about it on LinkedIn. Over 800 people signed up in days.
And The Group Chat was born

Black women who are actively building a business and ready to show up, share their numbers, and support other women doing the same. You don't need to be making a certain amount — you need to be serious about growth.

Membership pricing is cohort-based and increases with each launch. Founding Members (Cohort 1) secured the lowest rate. Cohort 2 pricing is listed on the application. Early applicants lock in before the price goes up.

Yes. The Group Chat is intentionally built for and by Black women entrepreneurs. This community exists to address the specific gaps in capital, access, and peer networks that Black women face.

Members have access to weekly co-working sessions, monthly money meetings, accountability pods, resource and client sharing, exclusive events, and The Group Chat Fund. It's active — not a place to lurk.

We'd encourage you to wait for the next cohort. Membership isn't passive and we hold each other to real standards of participation. Joining before you're ready is a disservice to you and the community.

15% of all membership revenue is deployed back to members. Grants ($2,500–$5,000, no equity) are awarded quarterly. Angel investments start at $10,000 with 3% equity for businesses ready to scale. Members can apply for both.
